Time is just flyin' by! Is this what all those old people mean when they say it goes by faster than you think?

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream...

Life in a nutshell:

* Halloween was a bust because both children were sick. Boo.

* I turned 30. Woo. (Now I'm officially a grown-up.) Kevin threw me a surprise gathering and it was lovely.

* Winnie turned 7 months old and grew 2 teeth.

* Eden is talking her head off all. the. time. And thinks it's hilarious to fart and say "Smells in here!" And she loves Elmo. Thomas the Tank Engine has been demoted.

* Kevin's going to Saudi Arabia from May 1, 2012 till May 2013. We are not going with him. We're staying here in Alabama. I love ya, Mom, but I don't want to move back in.

* We're going to Germany for Christmas to see our friends, the Petersons. Eden isn't coming. I'm sad. And glad.

* I'm tired. Winnie's not a sleeper. Apparently this isn't my fault, though. Kevin's parents told me they used to have to put him in their (heated and cooled) basement and let him cry all night long when he was a baby because he just wouldn't sleep. I'm not there yet with Winnie, but if I start asking for a basement-digging shovel for Christmas, you'll know why.
