I believe I have stumbled upon a picture that sums up the state of Alabama. Here it is:
Notice what the window paint says. Look twice. Not "It's my birthday" but "It my birthday." A very noticeable (in my opinion) lack of a verb. A small auxiliary verb, but a very important verb nonetheless. Displayed proudly on the girl's rear window. But wait! It gets better. Look at the license plate. Yes, folks, this lovely lady is a proud educator in the great Alabama educational system.
I need to get out of this state so badly.

Insanity and Funnies
So Kevin and I started doing that Insanity work-out. The name is accurate. It's insane. When the people on the video are dying and can't complete the work-out, you know it's hard. My calves are vehemently protesting from continuing. We'll see how long this lasts.
On a lighter note, Winnie's facial expressions have been cracking me up lately.
(Right at this very moment, Winnie is crying pretty hard and Eden is so tired of listening to it, that she's looking at me and faking crying, too. I can totally imagine what Eden is thinking: "Mom! Make it stop! It's hurting my ears!" I hear ya, sister.)
She is a little charmer (Winnie)...well, when she's not crying. Which isn't too often.
The big eyes crack me up.
You know what else cracks me up?
This.
And Eden's fake cheese smile.
Don't you love the look? Complete with the finger up the nose? Classic.
Eden loves her Dada.
And her new um-buh (umbrella).
And that's life for us lately. Toodles! Oh, wish my calves a quick and painless recovery.

A Peek at Our Day
Sometimes Eden cracks me up. See photos below.
She had climbed into Winnie's crib and gotten a bunch of bandaids and put them on herself.
As Kevin stated when he saw this one: Completely naked and all ready for war!
A few hours earlier this was her chosen ensemble:
Our fourth: we went to a friend's house to eat and then went to bed early because we were tired. Jealous of the excitement in our life?
By the way,
i made Eden's outfit. Turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself.
These are the cupcakes I took to the friend's house. They were fun and layered!
Eden trying out her new potty. She loves to pee in it...and everywhere else in the house. So we are waiting a little bit longer to pursue the potty training issue.
And lastly, Eden thought Winnie needed a hat so she put a washcloth on her head and screamed in glee. She thought it was hilarious, let me tell you.
And that's a peek into our life lately. Hope life is well with you, too!

Photos Galore
A photo montage of our life the past few weeks:
The unfortunate side effect of having beautiful, long, curly hair:
Winnie's first meeting with her great grandparents (my mom's parents)
Tell me if this child loves her some dogs:
Our beach trip:
(We weren't at Mexico Beach. We were at North Myrtle in S.C.)
This is what Winnie did most of the time:
So I was giving Winnie a bath one day, and Eden decided to help herself and get into the bath tub with Winnie. Winnie L O V E D it. She had the biggest smile ever.
Eden "read" a book to Winnie the other day. It was so cute.
And finally, Eden had a run-in with the concrete the other day. She did not win.
