Yesterday Winnie was born...wasn't it yesterday?
(That's peanut butter graham crackers - yes, you read that right - on her cheek next to the dog toy rope in her mouth. We're very picky about what goes in our 5-month-old's mouth around here.)
My 2-year-old says things like "I likey booby, Momma!"
Thank you, Eden. I like your boobies, too.
This girl clearly is a thrill seeker. "Gitchoo, Momma? Gitchoo?" (Translation: Run after me!)
Gigantic slide? Scared all the way down, but she'll go on them over and over.
She gets this sense of adventure from her dad.
My kind of adventures are more low key.
A great craft project...a hunt for great shopping bargains...a trip to the carwash...these are my thrills.
Seeing my 5-month-old lay on her back one day then crawl across the floor the next. That's my thrill.
Watching my 2-year-old go pee-pee in the potty after telling me she had to go. That's my thrill.
Discovering Eden in a preemie-size (yes, preemie) onesie after a nap one day. That's my thrill.
Returning from the laundry room to discover my 2-year-old figured out how to cut her own hair. That's my (very unwanted) thrill.
(To combat the sadness, we took funny pictures using Eden's cut hair. I know, I know. You almost can't handle the amount of excitement in our lives.)
Yes, that's our life.
Thrilling every single minute.
Toodles!
