I'm so lucky...

...to have a dog as talented as Ruby.

Did you know her new favorite thing to do first thing in the morning is to lick her butt juice (which apparently leaks out and smells HORRIFICALLY GAG-ORRIFIC) and then LICK MY FACE!?!

Joy.

At least if Kevin were here, my face would only get licked with a poo juice-covered tongue half the time. Only one of the many reasons I miss Kevin.

What kind of dog is Eerwin, Cam?

Yellow Lab. We adopted him from Lackland AFB through their retired military working dog program. He is only 3 years old. He is skinny for a lab (53 lbs) and has about half the amount of hair as a normal lab. He has some allergies and thus his medication is what makes him expensive. He has no physical signs of his allergies except when they are revealed by scratching. He is really calm/chill all day, but when he gets to play is all about the ball. Very focus, thus easily trained, and is very obedient dog. Let us know if you know of anyone. We need to get rid of him b/c of my husbands deployment schedule and me not staying home when he deploys (dog sitters are tough to find for months at a time). You can email me personally, kelseympeterson@gmail.com if you have more questions/photos.

Kelsey, sorry to hear about Eerwin. I so totally understand the whole deployment thing and being overwhelmed though. It's really hard making sure there's dog sitter when you need it. I need to call you because there's an idea formulating in my mind about this...
